I picked up a car at the airport in Toronto (quick, easy and friendly) and drove to Ottawa where I returned the car and again received quick and friendly service.The car was clean and worked well and everyone in Toronto and Ottawa were very helpful. It was the first time in a long time that I had rented a car and the experience was really great. Not too expensive either. I wish taking the train was this easy and inexpensive! Until then, Thanks Avis!
This review is not specific to the location, this is for Avis in general. We will never use Avis again. While on holidays our rental car was hit by another vehicle while in the hotel parking lot. The person who hit my car came to the front desk to report the accident and I got a copy of her insurance and DL number. Avis was great on the phone while I reported the claim, and sent us a new vehicle right away. When we returned the car at the airport and filled out the damage claim.
