This particular Avis location gave us a faulty vehicle, initially charged us for coverages we didn't opt for and a tank of gas they didn't provide us with. We changed our vehicle at a different AVIS that let us know that this location would have been aware of the gas issue because they could see in the history it hadn't been returned by the previous renter with a full tank and they themselves notoriously don't fill it up, and that this location was also under internal investigation already. Whole street shut off. This branch is closed .Tried calling multiple Avis Tel No.s, useless. Returned to 64th after speaking to a guy round the corner.
Have used this location for years due to it’s convenient location. Staff are professional and very nice, but are always understaffed at critical times. There is a giant ad for “Preferred” service, BUT they DONT offer it. Almost never get upgraded or a new car. Pretty banged up spot. “Ask management.”
Took over an hour to get a car rented even with a reservation. Slow service
