Check in was quick, counter attendant was polite. The car was filthy, nobody even tried to fake it. Trash, crumbs, grease spots. Oil change light is flashing at me. Oh and to top it all off there was a can of alcohol open and under the seat. I booked a prepaid rental with Avis for my family’s holiday trip, and this company completely wasted my time and money. When I made the reservation, the website only said a deposit up to $300 may be required and that prepaid cards weren’t accepted. I used my regular bank card , no problem. Nowhere did it say a credit card was required or that they run a credit check to rent a car.
