Don’t ever rent a car from this place. They will scam you and take money from your account without your consent and without any reason or proof. Washed and filled full tank of fuel and still charged $42. I called to ask why ( which is unacceptable) and they told me it was for fuel when I have a photo in their garage of a full tank. I’m lucky I took that photo but now when sending it through to customer service support team they are making up excuses as to why they are not receiving it. I thought, “Two stars for an Avis – how bad can it be?” Turns out the reviews are spot on! There’s no signage for the drop-off (it’s through the door to the post office) and Google Maps points you to the opposite building. Once you locate the counter you’re greeted by remarkably curt staff who are genuinely surprised you couldn’t find the unsigned underground car park. It's not their fault and it's clear that they really own the fact that they don't want to be working there either

Absolutely disgraceful customer service – AVOID at all costs. This was hands down the worst customer service I’ve experienced in Australia. The bald man was shockingly rude and outright hostile. We had an urgency on the pickup day and could not reach the station before 12pm. They are now closed (10min after 12), noone gave us a callto inform about leaving and not seem to have any phone how to reach them!! Even the nice avis lady on the general phone cannot reach them. Unfortunately we will only be able to pick up the car tomorrow. I am very upset that such a big company as avis is, has no way of reaching out go the station on a Saturday noon!!
