On 3/4/23 I was scheduled to test drive a rental car to determine if I wanted to purchase a vehicle through Avis rental car company. Don’t waste your time, Avis Car Sales is a scam! Reserved a car for the ultimate test drive 5 days in advance of the scheduled pick up time, kept receiving text reminders from them all these days and even the morning of the pick up. Spent an hour in public transportation to get to the Avis rental location in Chicago, where an unfriendly and arrogant front desk agent told me he knew nothing about the car and that I had to call Avis Car Sales.
