Very deceptive pricing. I had a reservation for a rental from LAX to LGB (with free mileage) and needed to change the drop off location to BUR. I put this change into the Avis app and it told me about an $85 increase for a 1-way drop off fee. I begrudgingly accepted this. But to add to insult to injury, when I look at my bill later, I was also charged a mileage fee too! The app did NOT say anything about this and normally all 1-way rentals between LAX and BUR do NOT charge mileage fee. Called customer service and they didn't... read more
I have flown into Burbank Airport multiple times over the past couple years and when I am returning my car with Avis, Maru has been very helpful and accommodating every time I have interacted with her.
