The gentlemen who owns and runs this Avis franchise is quite rude and obnoxious. I made a reservation via the website and received a confirmation number. Upon arrival, the gentleman laughed and said I was entitled to think my Presidential Avis status means I should actually have a car ready for me. I was quoted $349 at the counter, but after driving only 93 miles for the entire week, I was charged $408. When we checked out, the agent said he would email me the invoice within five minutes. He never did, and by that time we were already through airport security. Be aware that you’ll never be able to contact the person at the counter directly—all calls go to a central number. Never actually rented a car but was charged $470. We reserved a car online, but when we got to the AVIS, they said they had zero cars. So we never rented a car. Then we find out they charged us $470?
If i could leave negative "stars" i would. When we arrived , my selected vehicle was "unavailable". We received a smaller vehicle - but the fee didn't change. And as others indicated here, got charged for insurance I declined. Do not rent here. This agency is not honest. And i will never use Avis again. Follow-up: I spoke to the "Owner". My review stands - don't rent here.
