Prepaid online for a Corolla. When I arrived to pick it up, the available Corolla had winter tires so I was told I had to pay an extra $100 for the tires. There was no mention of this policy as I booked. No amount of reasoning would make them change their policy. Terribly inconvenient not being able to get the car I booked and paid for online. Never again, Avis.
Guy on the reception is very rude , i will never show up again , and it’s suggestion for others to not come here they don’t know how to speak.
I had a terrible experience with Avis, and I will not be using them again. I booked a “surprise car” online, meaning Avis could choose any vehicle, but receiving an F-250 was completely unexpected—and I was not allowed to switch to another vehicle. The customer service was equally disappointing. While I was being assisted, an elderly couple walked in, and the staff member didn’t even acknowledge them. You have to book a car in advanced, which is difficult at times. Customer service is good though.
