Friendly service, pickup was quick and easy. Rented two different cars over a couple of weeks, both were almost new. Best of the three or four rental companies in Berkeley.

The staff at this location are all pretty great. My issue isn’t with them, but rather Avis itself. I made a reservation for what Avis has labeled as a “Mystery Car” on their app. When I got to this location, the only thing that I was offered was an electric F-150. Here is a little known fact about the Ford F-150, which the good folks at Avis might not know: it is actually not a car! Absurd! The receptionist purposely delayed checking in and surcharged! I returned the car before the contract time, dropped the key to the receptionist but he didn’t process on time in order to surcharge!
