Just had a twilight zone experience with this Avis. They cancelled my reservation and didn’t give me a refund. What is even going on here? I will be filing a complaint with the relevant groups and authorities
0 stars if I could. I had booked a reservation online at 8 am for same day pick up at noon. I had to Uber from my location to this location and in mid transit, a rep calls me to tell me he doesn't have any cars available and that he didn't see my reservation because "he was doing something else"; no apology, no resolutions. He had literally half a business shift to see it. Nice service
Disgusting company. My father in law had a stroke and is in hospice and we need to drive to West Virginia, so we found a car at Avis that would work (I’m disabled and it’s very hard to find a suitable vehicle for a long car ride). We reserved it yesterday and she wrapped our name around the keys and promised it would be there this afternoon. Now we went to pick it up and they are telling us we can’t rent it because corporate said not to rent that car. There’s nothing wrong with it and we are trying to get down there as soon ... read more
