Both Jazmine and Cyndie were instrumental in helping us secure a 6 passenger vehicle to drive into Mexico for a family wedding in Rosarito. We were also able to secure Mexican car insurance through Avis at the same time. The process was seamless and the service at pick up and drop off was extremely easy. Several rental car companies don't allow their vehicles across the boarder, so we were relieved that Avis and kind staff were able to assist our family for this special occasion. Thank you~

45 mins to get keys from counter. The line is insane after a flight arrives, owner seems to skimp on staff or implement faster pick up procedures. The fact they are using a dot matrix printer says how much the owner puts into this company. I usually do turo at this airport but since it was a day trip, turo wanted 2 day min. I’d rather pay twice as much for two days and return early vs waiting 45 mins just to get a car after I “pre checked in”. Great experience at the Avis Car Rental at McClellan-Palomar Airport. Friendly staff. Nice car. Couple of important notes - pick up times are more limited than larger airports. Check your flight arrival time. Drops offs can be made anytime using the key drop box. The drop off area is in the lower lot and can be confusing at 5 am! It's a bit of a walk to the terminal from the drop off area but there is a convenient elevator which makes the walk easy.

DJ at Avis Car Rental provided exceptional customer service from start to finish. He greeted us with a warm smile and a professional attitude, even when we encountered an issue with our reservation.
