Ricardo has no customer service skills whatsoever. Stay away from this place if you can avoid going to this Avis do so I have pending charges because I had a account with Uber and the money was taken out of my account and Ricardo decides to charge my card over $800 for a weekly rental rate that I had through Uber and they were posting in my account so this is what’s gonna happen when you deal with Ricardo he doesn’t care if money is pending in your account. I walked into this Rental location with a CONFIRMED reservation for a larger SUV vehicle. The reservation included the exact wording that "everything was ready for me to pick up my vehicle". When I arrived at the indicated time and location at 6805 Ulmerton Rd. in Largo, Florida I was told by the only employee that there was NO vehicle for me even though there were several sitting out in the lot. I got there 20 minutes before my time. Car wasn't ready because they "had to wash it". This is totally fine, I am early even if they were 15 minutes late I would have been understanding. I see her pull out with a truck and the woman tells me that the truck is my vehicle when I booked a Toyota(I mistakenly thought was a Corolla) Camry. If I could get negative stars I would. I got into a car accident and went to this location to get a rental. when I got there I was told that if I want to use a debit card then they need to run a credit check, fine, well they said that they can't do me as a rental. well I had my my sister come and do it in her name and she used a debit card too, but they never ran her credit... so now I am getting overcharged to add me as a second driver, fine... but the 300 dollar car rental was $867? lots of fees and they refuse to refund t... read more
