I put in a reservation through the uber app to be able to drive and make money. Avis is the company that uber uses. I called multiple times to Avis and customer service. They all said I could use a debit card to get a rental but would have to get a credit check done when using a debit card. I made it to the davis hwy location and it was problem after problem. Stevie and Angie are the dreamteam. I wish all my car rental experiences were like this. I got a good price for four days because of a car repair. When I needed it longer, they said "we got you!" They extended my great deal and even made sure I left with something even more comfy. Fast, helpful, happy and professional, these two made sure Avis in Pensacola University Town Center is now my go-to place for car rentals.

This review does not reflect this location, I would give 5 stars for this location, but to reflect my hardship without help from AVIS for the whole trip. The employees in this location are actually the only people that were nice and actually tried to help me, I also learnt that the local car rental location is so nice vs the airport location Avis locations do not communicate with each other nor communicate with Avis headquarter. Please don’t waste your time. Rent from the airport. First vehicle I was given had ZERO tread on the tires. If I would have crashed and died due to driving in snow, my son would be a millionaire. Second vehicle was smoked out. Smelled of weed and cigarettes. I would not dare put my military uniforms in there so I called corporate and was able to pick up a different vehicle.
