Should be zero stars. There was an incredibly long line of people waiting for clean cars to be brought around. I agreed to take a dirty car that was just turned in, in exchange for not having to refuel it upon return. The Avis rep in the garage said “bring it back empty.” Seemed ok to me, better than waiting in the hot parking garage. The car had just under 1/2 a tank of fuel when I drove off. Had to wait 30 min to get my car last Monday. Then today after I dropped the car off I came home to Indiana to get a email stating they were charging me for gas after I had already filled the car up before I dropped it off. Over $150.
Extremely long line to get vehicle, long wait in line. Seems, at the Avis/Budget garage booth, in complete chaos and cannot get anything done quickly. A huge waste of time getting vehicle from Avis in Pensacola airport.
Horrible system. Booked online month in advance to only stand in line waiting in garage for car. 30+ min wait. I will never rent again from them. I have rented numerous other times. Walk to counter get key and go to car. Not go to counter and then stand in line. Update 1131am. Was told that cars are dirty or parked in the middle of other cars, which takes a bit to get to. If I booked a Toyota and they have my flight number, why is not ready?
Had to wait an hour outside for my rental car to arrive. Completely unacceptable. Frustrated customers waiting in a long line. Please update your system.
