So I was informed that that if I returned the car with a full tank I would be exempt from paying a charge for car fuel. So on returning car I filled up returned car to garage and was given the ok by the agent. So on returning home I was supprised to find I had been charged 64 dollars for not topping up the car. Didn't have the car we requested, first car we got smelled like an ash tray and weed. We called another avis and they never answered the phone. Called customer service to get help. They found the car we requested in fort walton. Got there and they in fact didn't have it.....go elsewhere.

Recently picked up a reservation. The car had some minor dent damage. Advised the guys at the booth it had damage, they agreed, said it was already noted. Month later, get a $800 demand letter from them saying I damaged it. I took pictures luckily. But now its a paperwork disaster with these idiots.

Prebooked and prepaid. They placed a hold on a different card before my flight even landed. Received the car. 50,000+ miles on it with a tire knocked out of alignment and car pulling to the right. Returned the car immediately and was given a different tier car than I had prepaid for as they had no more in the tier that I had paid for.
