I will never rent from Avis again. This specific location does not answer the phone. I called more than 10 times without ever reaching anyone. When I got stuck in traffic, I called the 1-800 customer service line to ask whether I could return the vehicle after hours. The representative assured me multiple times that after-hours drop-off was absolutely allowed and that there would be no additional charge. I am very disappointed with my experience with Avis. I reserved a full-size sedan, but when I arrived, I was given an intermediate SUV, which, in my opinion, is smaller and not comparable to the full-size sedan I reserved. To make matters worse, the vehicle smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, making it unpleasant to drive during my vacation. While I had a great experience renting from them, I think I may have left a bag in the vehicle and have been trying to call everyday (multiple times per day) and have never once gotten anyone to answer the phone. Super frustrating! I called customer service to see if they could help and they gave me the same phone number that Ive been trying daily for weeks.....
