Avis as a company is super shady. I read the rental contract thoroughly before renting a car here. I knew to return the car with a full tank of gas and provide a receipt to avoid the "fuel service charge". When I returned my car, I presented the receipt for the gas and the associate said "No worries, I believe you" and refused to even look at the receipt for the gas.
