Reserved a premium SUV weeks in advance. They called me the day before the pick up and told me it was no longer available. Then tried to put me in a 15 passenger van instead. Nothing else available. He tells me this the day before pick up. I called corporate and they found another standard suv at the Vero airport. The nerve of this guy to offer a 15 passenger van. He should have called instead of me to find something similar. Lazy and or incompetent.
Avis on US-1 always provides excellent service. Scott is consistently pleasant, courteous, and incredibly helpful. Every time I rent a car from this location, the process is smooth, easy, and stress-free. It’s refreshing to receive such outstanding customer service time and time again. Rented from Avis, was told they had what i reserved, they gave me a smaller vehicle told me they didn't have my class available. Still charged me for the full size, then it wouldn't stay running and kept breaking down. They told me it was unsafe to drive and needed to be towed. Not once I was informed that I would he charged for the tow, for their vehicle breaking down.
