I rented a standard 5 passenger SUV here in December 2025 for 2 weeks for a business trip. I made my reservation online a couple weeks prior and it said a standard suv would be a Ford Edge or similar, I received a GMC Terrain that was in good condition, only a year or 2 old, it was clean and had no smells. It was a very easy and quick transaction as I pre-registered on the Avis app, I was in and out and on the road quickly. Don’t arrive after 5 pm, they are upset to see you arriving so late and make it feel to you. My worst car rental experience ever.
I'm a truck driver and I rented a vehicle and dropped it off in Buffalo where my next job was. Avis fined me and over charged me. Won't ever use them again.
