There is no signage indicating where to return a car here if you are coming from someone else. To return a car here, you must enter the garage beneath the Via Rail signs on Rue de la Gauchetière (NOT the garage on Rue Belmont that will charge you $5.50 to leave) and park in one of the numbered spaces on the left. Note the space number and kilometres and enter the station through the door straight ahead of the garage entrance. Very convenient location - literally in the central train station. The agent booth is in the main boarding area next to McDonald’s. Avis / Budget parking spots are clearly labeled - they’re just off the street, under signs for VIA Rail. They’re to the left of the taxi stand. Do not go into any paid garage.

Nous étions dans une situation d’urgence avec peu d’autre option que de prendre une voiture de location, et malgré que nous n’ayons pas réservé et que Avis allait bientôt fermer, la femme présente au comptoir nous a été d’une très grande aide et parfaitement à l’écoute. Malgré qu’elle n’ai plus de voiture de disponible, elle a pensé a appeler un collègue extérieur pour savoir si il en avait de disponible . Grace à ça, nous avons pu rentrer chez nous le jour même, merci infiniment à eux deux.
