Avis is the best spot to get a car from in Lansing! Enterprise let me down. I had a meeting out of town to attend, and enterprise said my reservation was late whatever that means. I called Avis and they got me a car right away it was clean, and the service was great! On top of that I got a more spacious car for cheaper. I will definitely be renting from Avis every time from now on.

I don’t recommend using this company. I was in a situation where I had to rent for almost a year, the vehicle that I had was in desperate need of repairs, which Avis would not take care of, The vehicle needed new tires yet they’ve refused to replace them, the folks at Bell tire said this is common practice for them. The vehicle needed new brakes the battery died and I had to pay for it out-of-pocket. Wasnt open when i needed to return, even though the posted hours read open for another hour. Wasnt open when i went back the next day to talk to an agent. Got charged an extra day due to failure to staff
I didn’t even rent the car here! I spoke with Nick because this is the ONLY Avis location that will actually answer the phone and take care of you! Avis customer service is worthless and the call center is a joke! But Nick was able to solve my problem, fix Avis corporate’s errors and get me on the road fast, and may have saved the company a ton of future business! Will rent here at this specific location whenever I can and owe him lunch!
