Poor communication service with avis toll free customer service line and location. Only caters to those who prepays in advance. They said they promised to call back and never did. Had to call them back and they said they were completely booked out for the rest of the weekend.

Avis is the best spot to get a car from in Lansing! Enterprise let me down. I had a meeting out of town to attend, and enterprise said my reservation was late whatever that means. I called Avis and they got me a car right away it was clean, and the service was great! On top of that I got a more spacious car for cheaper. I will definitely be renting from Avis every time from now on.

I don’t recommend using this company. I was in a situation where I had to rent for almost a year, the vehicle that I had was in desperate need of repairs, which Avis would not take care of, The vehicle needed new tires yet they’ve refused to replace them, the folks at Bell tire said this is common practice for them. The vehicle needed new brakes the battery died and I had to pay for it out-of-pocket.
