We cannot recommend this location and Omar (owner) enough! After our car broke down while on a vacation from the US, this location happened to be within walking distance of where we were at the time. After reading some of the reviews, we were skeptical, but given our situation we didn't have much choice. We booked through Expedia and went to pick up our vehicle a couple hours ago. Unfortunately we had bad vibes about this place after speaking with the service rep. This was a long process with him discussing strange policy that did not seem to make sense and one that changed just last month. He assured us five times we could trust him. That is a big red flag! Showed up at 5:35 to pick up a rental car. They have a note on the window that’s says be back in 15. Really? You close in 25 minutes. Then there’s a number to call if you need assistance. Called 3 times. Got voicemail. Needed a car urgently. Ridiculous. Never rent here.
Worst experience hiring a car I've ever had. I'll pay more next time to avoid Avis/Budget. The guy wanted proof that my spouse and I were married and then wanted a $750 credit card hold for the vehicle where most others charge significantly less. Avoid at all costs.
Recently rented a car from Avis at this location , the pick experience was great , agent was friendly helpful and completed all checks very quickly. The drop off experience on the other hand was a like pulling teeth !! The agent spent a good 15 mins inspecting the car , even got on his hands and knees, started picking up every little piece of garbage that was in between the seats and throwing it out onto the sidewalk , got the point where I just had to leave because I couldn’t keep waiting around !!
