Let me preface this by saying the girl at the counter was very sweet and all of this was out of her control but I really hope corporate sees this. I prepaid for a Standard Elite SUV (Explorer or similar), go to pick it up and all that’s available is a minivan because of recalls??? So far our rental has been a nightmare. We picked the car up just 4hrs ago. We made a reservation WEEKS ago and prepaid. The car we reserved wasnt there when we got there. They only had one car available.... we leave for vacation tomorrow morning at 4am. The car they gave us is completely nasty outside. Looks like it hasn't been washed in multiple weeks, a service due light is constantly on, and the car is infested with ants. Terrible experience. Do not waste your time coming here. I called ahead and was specifically told they had cars available. When I arrived, suddenly there were no cars available at the rate I booked. The only vehicles they claimed to have were higher-tier cars, and they demanded that I pay a higher rate if I wanted to leave with a car. Booked a rental on their website and caught a Uber to pickup the car only for the staff to tell me they didn't have any vehicles available. Had to Uber to another rental company.
