The service was OK and the car was decent but Avis charged my credit card $212 and I don’t know what the charge was for. I have tried multiple times to call the agency and have not been able to reach anyone. looks like I am stuck paying $212 for something that I didn’t expect.
It is a complete scam, after almost 3 months of renting my vehicle they have not returned the deposit, with a false argument they debited even more than the amount paid from the credit card, saying that I had chosen a change of category, when in reality there were no vehicles of the reserved category and they offered me the one that was available (which was a higher category), I have been after them by email for more than 2 months waiting for them to return my deposit and now, they want to return the extra amount charged in ... read more
