My experience with Avis was terrible. They refused to modify my reservation, which resulted in me having to use the Enterprise in Lyndhurst, a much more accommodating shop. The customer service center and shop did not communicate at all, gave me conflicting information, and when this caused me difficulties did absolutely nothing to help. Avis is not a dependable option for someone wishing to rent a car.

Avoid Avis – Unreliable Reservations I had a terrible experience with this location. Less than 24 hours before my scheduled pick-up, they canceled my reservation and said, “we don’t have a car.” If you don’t actually have cars available, why even allow customers to book in the first place? It’s completely unprofessional and left me stranded without any options at the last minute.
