Despite calling ahead to confirm that my Class 7 "N" license would be accepted (twice), I was blindsided at pickup when they refused my reservation. No warning, no flexibility, just a flat-out refusal. Standing in an airport parking lot with a festival to get to and my plans about to fall apart I was at my witts end. Called corporate too. I have been an Avis loyal customer for months. Been renting cars every weekend since the beginning of the year and the experience I had with Avis YVR airport was HORRIBLE. I rented a Tesla Model 3, the car was great but I had to extend the car rental for 1 day and that's were the nightmare began...the rental agreement claimed the daily addition would only be $244 CAD...after that, I see a $450 USD charge to my credit card for 1 extra day, what type of unprofessional management does this company have?
