I booked a minivan with Avis weeks in advance for a family trip to Massachusetts. When my mother in law arrived to pick it up, they told her they had zero minivans available — despite the confirmed reservation. No solution was offered, no effort was made to help, and the next-best option was over $1,000 more. I didn’t prepay, but a reservation is still a commitment — and Avis clearly failed to honor it. Great place to rent your car from!
The two gentleman who helped us today literally saved us from a ton of pain being stranded in Florida. Our truck broke down on our way home 12 hours away to Virginia. They were so nice and accommodating and helped us find a vehicle even though it was extremely busy. Best customer service and great attitude. We owe them BIG time
