Avis ruined our reservation day of by not honoring pre-pay. Money is locked up to a week, and no option to resolve other than wait. The Agents are nice, but the company is a scam.
The pick up and drop off process went smoothly, and the customer service was excellent, however the car was quite dirty. It was mechanically sound, but smelled like stale cigarettes and is in desperate needed of a detailing- garbage under the seats and the inside windshield looked like someone blew their nose on it. The office was also pretty yucky. It is clearly labled externally, and easy to find, however there is no signage inside directing you to the second floor.
