"Upgraded" me to smaller car when i specifically needed the space of the one i reserved. Refused to accommodate my needs and tried to upcharge me. Terrible service
Appreciation post for Tom who works at this Avis location on S Euguene Road in Palm Springs, CA. I have been renting a series of vehicles from Tom at this location since September of this year. Tom has been very lovely and accommodating towards me this entire time; in fact, I just got off the phone with him moments ago to extend my rental by two weeks. Tom has a great sense of humor about him; dry, but neverthelesss present and delightful. Thanks for everything.
YOU MUST READ CORPORATE RESONSE BELOW. UNREAL. I had confirmed reservation for today. Take $30 uber to get there to pickup car and was told "u are 6th in line for a car. We have no cars" I explain that I have CONFIRMED reservation, and am told "So does everyone else". HORRIBLE AND COSTLY EXPERIENCE. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!! MY RESPONSE TO AVIS: Thanks for the quick, canned, corporate response. Im assuming even Avis corp is not going to offer reimbursement for rideshare to and from your location thay failed to deliver produ... read more
