August 11: Extremely disappointing customer service experience. The receptionist was dismissive, unwelcoming, and completely disengaged throughout our interaction. She barely made eye contact, continuing to type on her computer while I was trying to ask basic questions while giving minimal and unhelpful responses. I feel like a complete inconvenience just for asking for information. Very good service and transparent prices for a new car last. I highly recommend
Car brakes were faulty, they said that we can exchange it but the other location does not have any minivan. System is faulty, they provide all-season tires in winter season unless the customer requests for winter tires at an additional price per day. Clearly they wish to make more money instead of providing safe and reliable cars to travel with. Will never rent a car here again.
We frequently rent cars in Mississauga and it's usually a very frustrating experience - but not at this Avis. The service was amazing, especially the manager. We had to extend our rental on a few occasions due to a family emergency and she was gracious and accommodating. Best of all, we did not have to deal with the usual scams of trying to charge us more for things like insurance, etc which we often have to deal with at other places. We will definitely be returning here - they are excellent.
