We arrived on a late, but not delayed flight to Fargo after a long day of travel (January 15th), hurried down to the rentals, and just happened to see the Avis agent taking off to leave the airport. When we caught up with him he was rude and completely unapologetic! We easily could have been stuck without a rental for the night, and we still had to drive up to GFK for our hotel. He admitted he knew we were coming, but didn’t care. This is the second time this has happened. Will never rent from Avis at FAR!
I was having engine issues with my rental vehicle. Went in to this Avis when they opened to find a solution. The guy at the desk was SO helpful and gave me a couple new car options for an exchange. Super thankful for the help on a long roadtrip!
On par with Rent-a-Wreck at exorbitant prices. I went to collect my vehicle and it was dirty. Not just a little dirty, but mud (hopefully) crusted on the driver’s seat and interior. The car had much more damage than they had annotated on the paperwork. So I had to return to the office to report the issues and ensure the existing damage was marked down to avoid being charged for it. Love the Avis @ Hector Airport, used them a few times now. Always friendly helpful and work really hard. Pick up another car again tonight. Best customer service! Having flown all over the world for decades I’ve rented at least a hundred cars. Avis is lucky to have that crew. Thank you.
I'd give the d bag behind the counter in that stupid jurassic Park hat zero stars. Not helpful at all. Very rude. Didn't come up with one idea to fix a problem Avis caused by providing false information. I will never use this company again.
