Other reviewers have had understandably negative things to say about their experiences at this location. Mine involving an early return of a one-way drop reservation was just the opposite. The return of the very nice vehicle (to which I had been upgraded on the front end of my reservation) was handled by Patrice at the Lubbock TX 63rd St office. Patrice was professional, efficient, and pleasant. So, I guess one just never knows for sure how things will turn out.
Read other reviews because we have had similar experiences, this place will commit literal fraud. Returned a one-way rental, rented from a different time zone. Had the car for a physical total of about 23 hours and 40 minutes. The car was picked up at 8:15 MT (9:15 CST) and returned around 8:55 CST (7:55 MT). They charged an extra day because the time stamps just show 8:15 and 8:55. They gave for us a new car, fast to attend you, excellent customer service. We rented a car for 3 weeks and we had not problem. Excellent company.

DONT NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION!!! Avis is great but this location does not follow Avis protocols. Use Avis at the Airport. This local location will try and add extra fees so watch that! I was charged an extra day even though I returned on time and a toll fee when I used the car one day in Lubbock while my car got serviced. Last time I checked Lubbock does not have any toll ways!
