The worst rental experience I’ve ever had. 1. Car not ready on time: We booked for 11 AM, but they told us to come back at 1 PM. When we returned at 2 PM, the only available car was extremely dirty. They only did a quick rinse after we complained. 2. $450 cleaning fee scam: A week after we returned the car, Avis charged us $450 for “excessive dirt” - which was just some loose dirt on the floor mat.
