I want to communicate my unpleasant experience with my recent Avis rental. I rented a car from Avis for one day. I picked the car up when I landed at CLE and dropped it off at CAK. When I dropped it off at CAK, Avis had no person to check the car in. So, you take the keys to the Avis counter, which I did. The Avis agent said I would be emailed a receipt. Waited in line 45 minutes, by the time I got to the receptionist she told me they didn’t have the vehicle that I had reserved 6 days prior. Couldn’t give me a refund right there, she said I had to go through who I booked with, which I booked on Avis’ website. An extreme inconvenience the day before we need to leave for vacation. Car was clean on the inside, However no windshield wiper fluid. Return guy Chris was very pleasant helped move my luggage❤️

Straight liars. Cost me $300 and potentially more depending on when I can get another rental from a company that isn't Straight Garbage. I had a reservation and called in 2x days prior to confirm. Talked to a manager as well. They lied about everything. Front desk lady admitted they lie about stuff a lot and didn't care at all. She's about as useful as a rock. This whole place just needs shut down. CROOKED. They don't serve a dime.
