I wish I would have read these 1 star reviews before renting at Avis. Both the airport and Cerrillos rd locations were extraordinarily unhelpful when trying to remedy a malfunctioning car. The Cerrillos road rep had a chip on her shoulder when I entered the door. My reservation was for Tuesday October 7th 4 pm. We land in Santa Fe & taker Lyft to Avis 1946 Cerritos rd. Luckily Lyft driver waits , it’s 4:10 pm & they’re closed. Called 800 number & yes they close @ 4 pm. Told they open @ 9 am. Lyft takes us to our hotel. Next morning my phone is buzzing @ 9 am, I call the number back& was told be here @ 9:30 or no car. I said, hold that car til 9:45 , I wasn’t told cutoff was 9:30. Jump up dress, take Lyft back & arrive @ 9:35. Now everything seems good except the woman @ the desk was ... read more
My rental was filthy. I had to personally clean it and add windshield fluid. Otherwise, the staff were great.
