This review is 100% for Trishana H., the wonderful and knowledgeable Avis site operator / agent that facilitated our rental this past weekend. In what can only be described as sub-par working conditions at that location, due to inoperable air conditioning in 90+ degree daily temperatures, she was an absolute pleasure and had a smile at all times. I booked, or so I thought, a rental vehicle on March 11, 2025 for pickup on March 14, 2025. I arrived at the location for pickup and was told the only option was an electric vehicle. My reservation was for a Kia Rio or something similar. I am not comfortable driving an electric vehicle since I never have. Additionally, I am not from this area, so I wouldn’t know where to stop to charge the vehicle or how long the vehicle holds a charge. Always "oversold" when ever i book and don't call till an hour before. While customer reps said they have inventory. Avis needs to update their systems or something
Reserved online 4 days prior of my reservation date to get rental car at 9 am got a call the day before informing me that they would not have any cars before noon destroyed my vacation plans
