3 stars because I love pastor. I’ve been renting from Avis since they were in the back of sears. Always had a great experience with pastor, now I’ve had a not so pleasant experience with the heavy set young guy(respectfully, can’t remember his name.) I rented a car sometime ago, and at pick up I was given a free upgrade due to them not having any vehicles at that time. The guy at the front desk (Omberto) I believe he said his name was, he's very nice, calm and soft spoken. He was very accommodating as well. Also I learned something new about rental policy. Albeit he was working alone at the time, he was able to assist me and get me out of there within minutes. The entire process was very easy. I prepaid my rental and chose a mini SUV. Liars! I picked up a 4Runner with a small hard to notice crack . December 8, 2024. I spoke to Guillermo?, And he said he noted it. He did not and today, January 28, 2025 they took $284 off my credit card. They are scammers. Do not ever rent from Avis! The worst. The Asian lady at the drop off in Oakland was very rude. Never gotcha her name. Worst rental experience I've ever had... Update: I called and they see that Guillermo did note the damage and they reversed the charge.
