Didn’t have car ready and made me wait for car to be detailed and washed the told me my car was booked in till 12 returned it at 11:30 and got billed an extra day and they did nothing to fix it and wouldn’t return my phone calls.

Rather difficult to book with. When I had an issue with the booking, the vendor was unavailable (it was evening), but Expedia was available, and confirmed, "I'm trying on my end but it seems there's an issue with the inventory on the vendor's end... Would you like trying another vendor instead?" So it wasn't an Expedia problem but an Avis issue. Took over an hour for us to reach that conclusion.
Wouldn't recommend Budget or Avis rental in Saint John NB no matter the circumstance. They gave us the wrong car, with the wrong amount of seats, and did nothing to fix it, even after they promised to have a manager call to resolve the situation. EVEN after assuring us on the day of pick up that it was the correct vehicle. Instead, the charged me in full and hoped I wouldn't call back.
