Update: Unfortunately, things only got worse. The truck was still dirty on the outside, and the inside looked like it had maybe just been vacuumed—nothing more. I even paid for an extra day because I thought I’d be late returning, only to arrive and find out they don’t even have a lock box. I’ve been renting from Avis for years, and this location continues to disappoint. Today, I walked in to rent a car and was told they were “completely sold out.” But oddly enough, I saw multiple customers walk in and leave with vehicles—and their lot is clearly full, as you can see from the attached photos. What’s even more frustrating is that we booked a reservation for 9:00 AM tomorrow, over a week in advance, specifically to ensure availability. I’ve been a dedicated Avis customer for over 6 years, renting cars almost every week—always with my debit card, as I don’t use credit cards. Today was a major disappointment. I made a reservation like I always do. Everything was confirmed, and they even handed me the keys. I’ve been a loyal Avis customer for over 6 years, renting vehicles at least 3–4 times every month. I’ve always used my debit card without any issues—until now. Today, I made a reservation like usual. If I can rate this location zero stars I will. Firstly let me start by saying I live 3 hours west of the location. Picking up the car was very smooth until about 3 weeks later I got a flat tire which I had to change myself because roadside charges about $100-$200 to change the tire. I texted the guy at the counter about the issue he told me return the car and he will put me in a new one.
