Smooth pickup and return. Nice new Nissan Rogue SUV. Would consider using again when in downtown Vancouver.
Terrible customer service. As I was picking up the car, I chose the wrong payment currency and the guy would not let me change it. Now when I contact customer service, they won't let me change it because they're saying it should have been done at the counter when picking up the rental. EDIT: Emailed them after Avis' rely to this review but never heard back.
Smooth process of picking our rented car. The gentleman at the counter, Alex was friendly, efficient, gave us the required information, and some sight seeing tips as this is our first time in Vancouver & Whistler. The car is clean and well maintained. Thanks Avis!
So I asked for a "Chevy Malibu or similar" and they gave me a Jeep Grand Cherokee. For the non-car people reading this, the "or similar" bit between those two cars is the fact that they have 4 wheels. I've also searched high, and I've searched low and couldn't find the 24-hour rule on the website, despite the attendant saying it's there, but having the person in front of me in line be equally confused. Look, are you desperate? Sure, go here. Otherwise....
Rented a Jeep Grand Cherokee from these guys which we drove to Whistler, Sun Peaks and back. Alex at the counter (in photo) was super helpful with a stack of good advice. Thanks for your help Alex, we will be back again next year
