Well, what a way to run a business, everyone, in the office is upset, some have waited for 90min to collect their car on an early Saturday morning.... Staff just vanish Apparently people way before me complained, and the staff were clear they couldn't care less, Now their blaming the "system".... But a constant up selling of stuff... Try just honnering the contracts you have... Do I get an extra 2 hrs of rental due to taking so long to pick up... I suspect not. Ok, so the wait time on the 12th Sept 26 was a little absurd. We were queuing, beginning from out the door, for almost 2 hours before we were dealt with. Maybe that’s on me for not doing Avis Preferred, however, I’d say that is more a failing of Avis itself, its processes, and upper management - not the “boots on the ground” staff. The team are very clearly trying hard despite all of that. The vehicle I received at this location was as promised and the two gentleman who worked on Sept. 27th did the best they could but management gets one star only because zero isn’t an option. It’s wild to think they were either unprepared or purposely understaffing their location for regular cruise traffic. If I was an owner/manager I would be in there operating one of the two free terminals myself to speed up the 2+ hr line that stretched down the street. Absolutely unforgivable leadership.
