The service at Avis was exceptionally poor. The staff were unfriendly and unprofessional. Conversely, Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Sydney is superior; they consistently employ professional staff. This was my first experience with Avis, and I will never return.
My wife and I would like to thank both ladies in helping change our car on the Monday morning of Thanksgiving. We originally picked up a car at Halifax Airport (another post) which had issues. We tried calling Avis Halifax Airport, left a message as per direction with a promise of a callback...none. Used the Avis 1-888... number to organise a swap which was helpful but the Sydney NS Welton St Avis office did not receive notification. Again, the ladies provided a very efficient service despite the situation. Thank you.
This review is probably too little too late but I've had the wonderful opportunity of renting with Avis and I can't help but state repeatedly how awesome this branch has been despite the scale of operations and fleet size for a small town like Sydney. Special shout-out to Amanda who was truly terrific in helping me rent on the two occasions that my family was in town. She was extremely helpful and went above and beyond with all the queries I had. Thank you Avis. Your staff at Welton, Sydney are truly a class apart!
