Ive rented 5 cars since may. And the most recent online prepared rental double charged me. After calling 1800 number I was told the actual total of the car was double then what I prepayed on my app. And that was why I was charged twice. Which has NEVER happened before so im a bit erked seeing as I need another rental

I booked a car online n it advertised that u could save money if u pre-paid. When i went to pick up the car they were out of cars n they wouldnt even refund me the money automatically i had to take the time to call and cancel the reservation which makes no sense to me. Its like why book cars n take the money if they dont have any to offer. When i called the 1800# the rep had so many questions n when i asked him yo transfer me to a higher upper, he hang up on me. The most outrageous and disappointing rental car experience I’ve ever had. I booked a vehicle through the official Avis website for a one-way rental, and received a confirmed reservation — supposedly guaranteed.
