Reserved a car for 161$ and paid online. got a confrimation number, recipt, charge of bill in email, but when i arrived to check in something was off. at first, they handled me as if they didint know me, then acted like the card i paid with was wrong. they made me wait for over an hour while all three staff sat around watching videos on their phones, eating noisily, and bragging about how they had a car they dont want, wishing someone would just take it. eventually i had my fiance have to come in, and prove his identity and ... read more
This is my to go place to rent a car, been using them over 20yrs now. Their service is always speedy and friendly, best of all is so easy to get extended days and checking in the car is always super easy.
They close at 4pm. I called them at 3:50 and asked if they could stay open for 2 extra minutes. My plane got delayed, I was driving as fast as I could to pick it up.They were not willing to wait. I arrived at 4:02pm and the door was locked.
This was my go to spot after Hertz gave me a hard time but now they are too. They have an “updated policy” 2 weeks ago because a car was stolen so you can’t rent with an out of state license unless you have a bill from the same state. Being that most of us at KCU are out of state but live in MO obviously this wouldn’t work. Also, instead of calling ahead of time since we reserved 1 week in advance, they waited to tell us when we got there. This was inconvenient as we could’ve found somewhere else. Save your time.
