This was my first terrible experience with any rental car company. September 2024 we went to Fairbanks for 24hrs to go to the hot springs so we rented a vehicle from Avis. The roads were clear and absolutely great drive and experience, however almost 9months later I received a email saying the pick up I rented had 2 small 2-3 inch scratches in the tailgate. Great customer service, would have been 5 stars except the self inspection process is kinda iffy and after traveling I just wanted to drive away, lol.
