The employee, Nash, went above and beyond for my husband and I. We were stuck in an extremely difficult situation and the rarest thing happened, Nash showed impeccable professionalism while also having compassion for us. Without him helping us we would have actually been stuck 30 hours from home. So thank you Nash for being such a dedicated and compassionate employee. You really changed the trajectory of our honeymoon.
I have had countless rentals through Avis over the years and the vast majority involve either picking up or dropping off a car at the Avis location in Key Largo, Florida. The manager there, Nash, never fails to provide excellent, considerate and efficient service. In fact, our son and his family visited us in Key Largo last week and Nash provided them with the perfect vehicle on short notice with extenuating circumstances. I told Nash that I will need to sell my house here if he ever retires. Thank you, Nash!
Confirmed with Avis Customer Service they open from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday. arrived to this location at 3:20 pm on Friday, and nobody was there. We were there for a good 15 minutes, knocking at the door and no one was there. What a waste of our time. We are not from the USA, just visiting and now paid close to $30 for USA calling phone charges calling this location, just to be transfer to the Call Centre. BEWARE: I was charged $78 extra upon return, the rep did not send me the bill when I asked. I had to contact the Avis corporate office to request the bill. Upon review, there was a deceptively labeled "miscellaneous" charge on the bill. When I asked why we were charged extra, I was first told there was vomit in the car upon return. When I stated no one had vomited in the car and my husband and I were the only ones in the vehicle, I was then told there had been a dog in the vehicle. We don't even own a dog.
