Extremely disappointing experience with Avis at Whittier - First, they gave us a car with low air pressure in one of the tires. I noticed it immediately and informed the staff, but instead of addressing the issue properly, he just told us to “fill it up and drive” — despite not having a compressor at the location. My friend reserved a car so we could drive around for several hours after our cruise ship disembarked in Whittier. We arrived at 8:00 AM to pick up the car. The elderly gentleman at the rental office was exceptionally rude from the beginning. He gave us a car with a flat tire.
