Unsafe vehicle, misleading damage claim, and dismissive customer service — very disappointing experience with Avis I rented a Chevrolet Malibu from Avis in June and am now formally disputing a damage charge due to serious inconsistencies in their documentation and photographic evidence. Rented a vehicle there, while my truck was getting work done. Only had the vehicle 2 day, which it sat in my driveway. I returned the car ask the employee at this location to come out look at vehicle to check fuel and condition on car, he told me the do not do that anymore , yhe look it over at later time. Long story short, advis recovery called me month later telling me there was damage, said I had to pay $3200, I called thier bluff, because I had took pictures of pictures of car when I drop it off as well as fuel gage, so ... read more

Smooth experience from beginning to end. We were given a brand new VW Taos for an extended long weekend and it was perfect. Emails and reminders were an added bonus and the car was very clean upon pickup. Line at the airport moved along quickly as well.
