Absolutely terrible service. Would highly recommend AVIS as they are an amazing company but the Saint John airport location was not good at all. Would not recommend. This would have been zero stars if I could.
Unfriendly and unhelpful desk staff
Worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. Flight is delayed - trying desperately to find out how we will get our vehicle. Calling the airport location during their posted business hours - have called 38 times in a row - not one person has answered. Called the main Avis customer service - they answered but COMPLETELY USELESS. If you are travelling for work, you need a reliable company so you can ensure you have a vehicle for to be able to do your job, DON’T USE AVIS IF YOU WANT THAT TO HAPPEN.
This is the absolute worst place to rent a vehicle from. My company arranged for a vehicle to be picked up when I arrived in Saint John. I arrived at 10pm and the company had a staff member waiting for me. I signed the agreement and took off. It was late and no walk around was done. Later I would notice that the running board was at a slight angle. I thought nothing of it other then this must be how new vehicles look.
