I had an extremely disappointing experience with this Avis location that completely disrupted my travel plans. I made a reservation over a month in advance, only to receive a call the morning of pickup stating they were sold out of vehicles. There was no proactive solution offered—just a notification that they could not fulfill the reservation. I would rate Avis a 0. Absolutely terrible. Dont ever use this place. I had a reservation for a 6 passenger vehicle and they call me 2 hours before pickup time to tell me they dont have a vehicle to accommodate our reservation and pretty much that we are SOL. I called customer service who told me to change my reservation to a smaller car. I booked the vehicle at a certain size to accommodate the number of people. Again, avoid this Avis and any other. Terrible. Terrible way to do business.
Booked a car, received a confirmation, drove to get the car. After we arrived, we were told they didn’t have it available and could not get one until the next day. If family vacations are important to you, do not trust them at this business.
The gentleman working here January 28th & 29th 2026 is doing fantastic work.
