Why does this show hours that are not correct. I took an uber, bus, Lyft then the metro a line to get to the Avis before1pm. After calling 5 times from 12:30-1pm the Avis call center informed me that they closed at noon even though the uber app has availability to reserve a vehicle until 6pm. So after speaking to employee the Uber on-boarding system stops working at noon but Avis is open until 1pm. I was charged a $450 cleaning fee after returning my rental vehicle in excellent condition. I took the car to Mister Car Wash right before returning it, and the AVIS local office inspected the vehicle in front of me and confirmed everything was clean. No issues or fees were mentioned during the return, yet I was later charged without warning or explanation. I reached out to customer service but have not received proper documentation or response. Rented a car to go to Las Vegas. Easy process and very nice staff.
I don't recommend avis car rental my husband rented a car through the Uber program in the beginning the charges were fine with no issues but towards the end he ended up getting charged 4 times in 1 week he called spoke to a gentleman that gentleman informed him to call the bank and let them know it's Fraud which I found that very weird my husband ended up doing that.
