It took over an hour from when I was initially helped and checked in to when I was given the vehicle.
This place saved me. I picked up a car at RIC that was given to me with a flat tire I discovered on the road. Pulled in and the franchisee traded me out. They won’t get credit (or likely paid) from Avis for it, but the owner was nice, found a car, and got me on my way. If they were closer, I’d rent here over the airport every time from here on out.
Rented a car for Friday- Sunday. I arrived at 3pm and they didn't have a car clean. 1 hour later, we finally get the car. I drive off and immediately there is a loud grinding sound. It got worse every time I hit the break. I immediately go back. The employee tells me he is not able to diagnose the car (obviously), so he offers a replacement, however this is also not clean, I would have to wait close to another hour. They were late opening, showed up at 8am and the only employee working was 15 minutes late. The car was in bad shape, scratches all over it, smelled bad, and the steering wheel was sticky. Returning it was more of a nightmare, apparently only one person works at a time and another customer had valid issues ahead of us. It took forever to just hand the keys back.
If I can give 0 I would. Sitting here now 1 1/2 hours……. 1. Person in the front counter. I walked into a line of 4 people before me. Ok, happens let’s keep going 2.After 40 minutes, my turn great. Get up there and my luxury class car (reserved 5 months ago) isn’t here because of “oil” issues. (2nd time to hear this out of the 4 people) Solution? Put me in a mini van……… ok… 3. Oh “they are cleaning the van”…….. sitting as I write this 40+ minutes………… why offer an unclean car with already an issue with my “luxury”rental. This ... read more
