This is the absolute worst car rental place that you can actually go to. My wife and I put a reservation over a week ago for her to rent a van in this guy goes ahead sells it out from under her feet and then when I go to ask him if it's common practice he goes ahead and says oh I can give you the 1-800 number however when I asked to speak to manager he told me he was the owner. We rented a 12 passenger van for four days and what we thought we were getting was a Ford transit vehicle and we got a GMC vehicle that was supposedly a 2025. The sliding door did not work trapping 12-23 people several times and we went to Nashville Tennessee. The door only opened if you hit the door from the inside and out and sometimes the didn’t do it. What a wonderful experience! The franchise owners motto is simple “I won’t put customers in a car I wouldn’t put my own family in.” I had originally rented from the location off of Van Dyke, and changed it to this location. I’m so glad that I did! The car was in perfect condition, super clean and the gentlemen who drove it up front said he has worked for the owner for three years and was also super friendly! We were going to the Tigers game. I reserved a 12 passenger vehicle a week in advance. I was supposed to pick it up at 10:00 am on Saturday. Friday night at 5:00 PM I get a call from the owner that says the vehicle may or may not be there in the morning. The day that he called me he told me people were waiting six hours for a vehicle. How on earth do you own a company that rents vehicles, the customer reserves it a week in advance, and you call them the night before and tell them there’s no vehicle.
